Many Thank You's for doing the heavy lifting this year and suffering through being the first in knowing how pitiful it has been for most of us with our portfolios. Tomorrow, I have my second portfolio stock being bought out (ABCM) so please don't bother reallocating the cash generated by the sell. I've learned from this experience about having a sizeable buy out early in the year and the funds are reallocation just as the massive decline set in for small biotechs. If the funds had been left in cash, I would have avoided taking a double whammy with the reinvestment provision. I doubt I will ever again have two buyouts in contest stocks, but could we opt for a rule change that gives the contestant the option on when the funds are reallocated?
