Here's a good article on Sun's StarOffice acquisition. It also has a good discription of MSFT's decline. MSFT was voted the "most unwanted" vendor by corporate IT managers. The story indicates that the rating which MSFT received was the worst that the individual in charge of the survey had ever seen. It certainly appears MSFT is in decline with these kind of marks.
