Yes, it is confirmed that the new ESST chips incorporates MMX technology. You can select Windows NT, Linux, Windows 95, MacOS, or any two of the above to be embedded in your MPEG-1 decoders. Fred supplies the software. However, you have to pay a minimal fee if you want to have integrated TCP/IP internet open standard or corporate intranet solutions bundled with your VCDs. These are very rarely used unless the product is deployed by a large chinese government organization who standardize on ESST MPEG-1 ViewPlus decoders as central processors for optimal workstation versatility. courtesy of Fred. please call for a free digital video roadmap.
