I've been trading msft options lately and sure enough, I've caught the wave from early november to earnings in january and, now, from first of march to current earnings. I'm 100% in leaps ('00) and bunch of april 100's. The gains I've made, so far, just astounds me. MSFT, based on past performance, is relatively predictable within certain range. I've also made leap trades in athm but got out after quintupling at 110, on the second thought, I may re-enter based on favorable price, whatever that means. Currently, I am looking at yhoo, nsol, and other leaps. However, it seems that, based on my informal studies, one gets rewarded the most with msft options relative to other equity options assuming other variables are similar. I am currently close to graduation from dental school, and "if" things go right, then I'm very close to my objective of "Retirement by graduation." All debts paid off after taxes. All made possible because of msft options. I should also mention that I lost big bundle on dell february options but have recovered now in msft options. As you mentioned earlier, "investing" in options is RISKY. All one needs is one great wave or few good ones and you can be close to retirement ahead of your schedule. |
