Bigfoot Lives Ammo came running down the stairs yesterday, all excited. "Mom! Bigfoot is real! I heard him!" "Where?" I'm worried. "Is he in our backyard?" Look of disgust-silly Mommy. "Nooooo, I heard him on my computer- they have an audio of him!" THe desire to believe is so strong! "AMmo, don't you think that in all these years someone would have found a Bigfoot and at least taken a good picture of him?" Ammo feels sorry for me. "MOm-only 20% of the woods in our country have been explored. THere's a lot of places he can hide." A chasm lies between us-I don't understand why he wants so much to believe, and he doesn't understand why I don't.
