RE: If Elaine is so smart, why did she tell the world to sellout
the U.S. stock market at Dow 5400 in July of 1996 and then
stay out of the market until early in 1997 when the Dow
had soared straight up 1600 points to near the 7000 level.

This advice is much worse than wrong. This advice is a
disaster for any poor investor who happened to follow the
Princess of Wink.

A friend of mine tells me that he got a "complimentary" copy of her Her Ladyship's newsletter in July 1996, with the screaming headlines, "SELL EVERYTHING NOW!!!!". He threw it along with his junk mail. And therefore, he had no use for another "complimentary" edition from Her Ladyship (about 6 months later and 1500 Dow points higher), this one with the screaming headlines, "NO! WAIT! BUY EVERYTHING NOW!!!!", or something to that effect!

"Princess of Wink"... that sounds appropriate! As for the pigs who followed her "advice" and got slaughtered, they shall henceforth be known as the "Princes of Oink" :-)

Dipy.
