Who said it was only for women?

What you said was, "...you can have a spoken policy that grants women the right..." If now you're saying that also includes men, then I suppose it does comply with California employment law, although I couldn't tell that from what you originally wrote.

You also said, "...male baby boomers (the generation that brought you the sexual revolution but is too scared to bluntly talk about effective policies for women)...would turn beet red at the thought of even discussing such a topic..." I thought about that overnight, and decided that if I ever hear a manager at my workplace say something like that, I'm going to complain to HR.

You can tell by my profile and my postings that I am a male baby boomer. I was conceived that way and it isn't my fault. I've read your postings which express admiration for your father. Obviously neither he nor you are baby boomers, but my generation in-between happens to be so. You generalize about males and baby boomers as though we're all out of the same mold or something. To me that is prejudice.

As far as who brought you the sexual revolution, I'd nominate such people as Carl Djerassi, Hugh Hefner, and Betty Freidan, none of whom is a baby boomer. They must be in your father's generation.

You want blunt talk about effective policies for women? I'm doing my best. I doubt if they would be much different than for men in today's workplace. I showed how the particular example you gave would apply equally to a man.

What makes you think I'm "scared" or get "beet red"? Simply because I'm a male baby boomer? You're an age & sex discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen.
