in 1987 the market peaked at 2750...this market peaked around 8150.....so if you want to use multiples 3x might be more appropriate... The few days before the 500 pt. crash in 1987 was preceeded by several 200-300+ down days...there were no circuit breakers and no trading halts in 1987....but, of course, we all know that this time IT'S DIFFERENT!!! careful, careful CARL
