Payroll, FICA, all the rest of the stuff they take out of a paycheck. It's a fairly long list. Since I'm self-employed I don't have to deal with that but I've seen her pay stubs on many occasions and she's always upset that she's left with so little. Rich people not only don't have to deal with that, if they're really crafty, they can get away without paying any taxes at all. That's why lowering the taxes for the rich was such a needless greedy idea, especially since it's all budget-busting deficit creation.
