Zi closes $25 million private placement

Zi?s investment banker, Lehman Brothers, placed the offering with eight institutions including Ontario Teachers Pension Fund, Baystar Capital, New World Investments, Lancer Partners, Essex Capital, Greenburg Summit, Kingdon Capital and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. The placement supports Zi?s on-going effort to expand its institutional investor base and provides funds for growth opportunities.
