Silver has more industrial use than anything else. But yes it can play a role as money. It may well have more of a monetary role in the future. The only problem I see is that there is not enough silver for a true monetary role.

But if the prices rise very significantly, then it could become a new story.

For sure Goldmomey, Liberty Silver and many others think the days of silver as a monetary unit will come back.
