Bulls focus at least as irrationally. AOL gets a loan from a third tier, no name LD reseller in a deal that pits AOL against AT&T, MCI and Sprint and their $3b in ad budgets. Apart from whatever time
the loan may buy, presumptions of translation to revenue are at
best premature. In fact, the deal may spur AT&T et. al. to increased efforts at marketing and bundling of access.
