From Briefing.com "08:31 ET Market Indication: Markets spooked by Wall Street Journal story suggesting that the Fed is considering raising interest rates in coming months. Says FOMC moved away from neutral stance at March 31 meeting. News has put a scare into markets around the world (Japan -2.25%, Hong Kong -2.63%, Germany -1.1%, France -1.7%). Long bond trading -23 ticks. Current level of S&P futures suggests that downside curbs will be triggered on the Dow at the open. Fed scheduled to meet May 19." billwot
