Whether or not its obscene that the rich make so much money, the point is that the amount of taxes they pay actually has increased both in absolute terms, and as a percentage of all tax receipts.

Having established that, I'm not adverse to changing the topic if you want.

What level of wealth for the richest 1%, 10%, 25% whatever, is obscene? Why is it obscene? What would you do about it? Why?
