half these people who are now saying the surge is wrong were for a surge. Their whole argument ... was we need more troops there, .... and suddenly, they oppose that. .... This is contemptible behavior.

And as such it will be noted by many. "Not enough troops" was their rallying cry -- and now, "more troops is not the solution". LOL. Reminiscent of "I voted for this war before I voted against it".
