Montana is growing at a tremendous clip. Montana grew 12% between the 1990 and 2000 census. Housing and condos are popping up in western Montana like poppies.

Wyoming is next, IMO, fed by the prestige community of Jackson Hole.

Affluent people from California and the East are looking for scenic "country home living". I was seriously thinking about getting a law job in Park City or Provo and commuting from Heber City in Utah's Heber Valley. Then I looked at what the home values are as compared to 10 years ago. Forget it. I'm not paying half a million for a home.
