Frankly, I think he may be right, as "extraordinary" as that seems. I haven't seen anyone else dispute it. And you and I know every Republican is all over his ass.

His figure was $860 billion. Something about that figure seems doable, but I'm not sure. There's a lot of f---ing oil in Saudi Arabia, and the close relationship between our countries goes back a long way.


I suspect its $860 billion worth of investments as opposed to outright ownership of assets. For an example, two of the princes own considerable amounts of US stock.

In any case, if the figure was wrong, I would think the GOP would be all over it by this time. MM has hired a cadre of attorneys to fend off any legitimate attacks on his facts and integrity. He seems pretty confident that he's covered.

It seems the best the GOP can do is put out the spin...he's a traitor, he's lying, its propaganda etc. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, too much of the film is Bush making his usual gaffes and impolite remarks.

Its hard for the GOP to overcome dem facts!
