One question I have from your post, however, is since USWest is the CLEC that all these ISPs (incuding MSN I assume) will be using, how then is it possible that MSN could be offering faster DSL service and a lower cost than the competing ISP DSL service that USWest is offering when USWest owns the network???

Something doesn't make sense. What am I missing? Why wouldn't USWest match the MSN DSL service performance at a lower cost. Logically it must be cheaper for USWest since they own the network. Did MSFT bring Lucca Brazzi to the negotiations????!!!!!

Please help!!!
