If I were an advisor to President Bush I would REMIND HIM that SOFT TALK to Saddam prior to 1991 resulted in Saddam invading KUWAIT and causing us to spend a great deal of money to extract him. I think it quite FOOLISH to soft talk to Iran. The long and the short of it is Iran will not be allowed to get nuclear weapons. PERIOD. This is so cause it would create just about the most serious situation that can possibly be imagined in the Middle East and more likely then not disrupt if not completely end the ME supply of oil to the Industrialized world, resulting in probably the worse depression in HISTORY. And that is THE LEAST worse situation. jdn
