Ted, Yes, I'm sure that unfortunate coincidence is provoking his current comments. Where do you come up with this stuff?

It was just a thought. "Cosby Show" was one of my favorite sitcoms growing up, and I still enjoy watching reruns of that show. If anything, it advances hope and optimism among blacks without resorting to "white-washing" their unique culture.

It stands to reason that over the years, Bill Cosby is getting more and more frustrated with blacks literally killing themselves in a cycle of violence and self-pity. It's the unfortunate truth that all of the work he put into building a future for black America is being squandered away with poor excuses. That frustration, plus the fact that Cosby isn't getting any younger, is what's most likely prompting his latest criticisms.
