It happened on the previous strong Non Farm payroll report also, if I remember correctly. (The Aug-07 negative payroll # was revised to positive #. That day also the dollar was dumped.

This I think is because some countries, also called sovereign nations/funds, (like Taiwan, Qatar etc...) are diversifying from dollar to Euros. Like Asian countries buying our Treasury debt, these countries diversify, at any cost. Market fundamentals are not involved here, all IMO...

I have Nov puts on Euro, will expire worthless, most likely...
