It will effect election, and will effect biotech valuation.

Should be some biotech dumping tomorrow a.m - however, maybe some good buying opportunities at some point.

Very hard to tell how this will play out for biotechs over the next 6 months should Gore get elected. He may just continue Clinton policies as it concerns relations with drug companies, prescription drugs, and even possible price controls. Gore may not get what he wants on drug legislation, as his election may not be viewed in mandate terms. Perhaps something can be worked out to keep biotech innovation going.

However, had Bush been elected next Tuesday, I believed that would have been very positive for biotechs near term at least. At this point based upon what I am hearing tonight from different sources, Bush appears that he will not be elected.
