Hello kiddies.
I was curious if this site was still here and I wondered if my ancient login still works. I was surprised to see recently messages on this old thread. I guess so... LOL It seems like 10 years have past since my last visit.
Hopefully people have learned a lesson when it comes to penny stock investment. It's really not an investment, it's learning the art of 'understanding the scam' and trying to make money in it. This requires more skill than it does with legit stocks. Most people are honest though and never see the real story and fall prey. Everyone will lose money in stocks, just win more than you lose to come out ahead. You can lose here and win elsehwere, who cares.
Just like everyone, I was very curious about penny stocks by reading all the hype generated by 'you know who' when they first spammed the Prodigy forum on microcap stocks, before this site.
The lure of the dollar stock doubling or tripling is hard to ignore, everyone wants instant satisfaction. It's too easy to get suckered into this, the real skill is figuring it out then finding a way out before you get ruined. It's ok to lose, but don't get punished. Learn, move on and continue the quest. Looking back on my stock market learning experience, after penny stocks, I moved into bigger stocks and learned more about trading, options, etc. I wanted to understand all aspects. This was a hobby, but I lost interest and I haven't done a trade in 5 years, but the knowledge gained stays with your for life so when it's time to do it again, I know which 'game in the casino' I feel more comfortable with. It ain't penny stocks either! The best way to make money in penny stocks is to place your bet that the company in question is a scam vs. hoping it's real. This requires special brokerages accounts outside the 'big boy' brokerages. I wouldn't attempt this unless you are skilled in this method.
Back to the lure of doubling or tripling your money. Granted, buying a big legit stock for $30 and hoping to double or triple may not happen but if you still desire the thrill while having a better change than placing cash in pennies, learn the art of options trading. That $30 stock may have $1, $2, $3, etc options available. A $5 short term rise in stock can yield a big return on your option pricing. Options are really not a long term hold either, trade them when a profit is had. You can have the penny stock thrill with options and the game is a much faster pace vs. waiting for the great pumpkin {Charlie Brown}.
re: Grupo Brad - Recalling old memories and analyzing them today. My last memory was that Grupo disappeared from the message boards when there was a sign of trouble. I would venture to guess he cashed out. People that don't cash out will continue to post messages because they have a vested interest, it's human nature. People that sell and no longer have a position will have not desire to post messages.
If I were to bet, I think Grupo and cronies made out like rich bandits on these scams. I got the impression early on that he did alot of penny stock trading and raked in tons of cash. Someone with this type of trading behavior ain't no dummy to hold, he wants to get paid now.
You also have to understand that screen names are just names. There is nothing stopping him or the cronies from continuing the scam under different names. If the scam worked once, it shall work again. Scams never go away.
I'll post again in year 2016. LOL .. |
