Fair Share Fouls Out (Yet Again) By Working Families for Wal-Mart Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has affirmed a lower court ruling invalidating the special interest “Fair Share Health Care Fund Act,” aka the “Wal-Mart law.” This is the latest, and one hopes, final blow to an extremist campaign that once targeted 33 states, but has now been rejected or stricken down at every turn. We can only hope that union leaders will now finally work toward real healthcare solutions, rather than continue to squander their members’ dues by lobbying for the enactment of failed and illegal gimmicks.
