Patrica You're welcome. A thought,first I agree with Mark that you need to cull your startups to the bare bone. Second,you could make shortcuts to the programs you use frequently and open only as needed and then close them back up. The created shortcuts could be placed on the Quick Launch bar,Desktop,Start menu,or in Favorites. Infrequently used open programs and apps are resource "hogs" and should be kept closed until needed.
