In referencing TR and how he broke up the trust I was arguing for what America needs to do with the monstrosities of the Investment banks. If you asked people on the left or the right if they are happy with the consequences of what the derivatives gambling did to our home values and economy - those that actually understand the root cause(s) would say ......no of course not. So did we hold these gamblers accountable? Did we change their businesses in a way to make sure it doesn't happen again? No we encouraged them; left everything in place and made them bigger and stronger. Now they are not only to big to fail, they are too big to manage. .........That happened under Obama's watch. TARP, that Allen referenced, was the baby of Bush.
