Who better than Q to develop the CDMA replacement. They will have the royalty money from CDMA to put into new technology. After all who has supplanted INTEL. No one because no one has the resources to compete. Intel keeps pouring billions into R&D and others can only pour millions.
The reason GSM and TDMA cannot compete is no one has a monopoly on the technology to leverage into to kind of growth that Intel has seen with the 8X86. There was very little special about the chips they have made. They just make them the best and price everyone else out of the market. That is the next step for Q.
