So why don't you tell us what you learned from the book that I did not comprehend?

You obviously missed Tenet hammering the table on the WMD as a "slam dunk" and Bush stressing he did not want anything stretched to prove the case. <g>

Overall, I thought the book painted a picture of a pretty decent administration. I was expecting something much more negative after the initial press blather.

The only things I recall being somewhat negative (with the proper spin applied) were:

Bush asking Rumsfeld to update the Iraq battle plans so early. This is of course spun in the press to sound like Bush had it out for Iraq from the beginning, but the facts are that the inspectors were currently out, and it was clear Bush would have to deal with this at some point, so refreshing the battle plans is reasonable.

Powell learning about the decision for war after Prince Abdullah. That shouldn't have happened.

I can't recall any others off hand, and I've lent the book to a friend, so these will have to be it for now. I'm sure you'll point out anything I missed <g>.
