Hi NYCNPBBKR: Now this is just a simple, innocent question, so don't go flamin' out on me. I've noticed that it really gets under your skin when people don't list a profile. How Come? As someone who falls into that category, let me shed some light on at least my reason. I use these services to discuss trading ideas I'm interested in, and frankly I don't particularly want to discuss the company I work for (which would happen if I posted that information--I guarantee it!). It's a no-win situation. No matter what I say, it would either be viewed as blind exuberance (if positive) because I work there, or detrimental to my future employment if negative. Besides, people should be judged on the content, consistency, and accuracy of their posts--not their name, their company, or what they do for a living. That information, although perhaps interesting, is only useful as fuel for personal attacks, which is not what these threads are all about. So don't let it get to you so much--it's really not worth elevating your blood pressure over.
