If the Turks want to invade Kurdistan, they will claim, very likely with complete veracity, that their borders are being invaded from Kurdistan by Kurdish terrorists.

So, if we back Kurdistan, we will be backing a state that is acting as a terrorist base camp, against a fellow NATO member.

This gets kind of awkward, know what I mean? Aside from the fact that the Turkish army is only the only Middle Eastern army besides Israel that can actually fight well.
