Could someone help me in determining whether I can qualify as a trader or not. For about 3 months I set up a separate account for trading. I made more than 150 buy/sell trades. Then I got stupid and put most of the money in a stock that was going to the moon, but in reality barely got out of the blocks. I had to close that account and am no longer trading in it (I have other accounts but these are core positions w/fewer trades). For that brief period where I averaged several trades a day, can I consider myself a trader (though not a very good one, I'll admit)?

Thanks
