You really don't understand, do you? I don't want to convert anyone. Your way or the highway is the way of the right, not the left.

Besides, I don't have a clue who you are. You and DR and Harris et al do not seem to believe in the cultural icons in which the rest of us believe. You appear to believe in the democratic ideals only to the point where they serve you and only you. DR thinks its a sign of Bush's strong leadership that he refuses to speak to the NAACP. From my POV, that's borderline crazy and irresponsible. After all, blacks are as much Bush's people as whites. But DR doesn't seen that........he's broken it down into purely partisan terms. In his book, leadership is determined by how well you wield those partisan values.

And that's ultimately why we have become so divided. In reality, Bush is not a good leader.......he doesn't know how to unify but only to divide. But to a DR, Bush is the best thing since ice cream. And there is no convincing DR that his values are badly warped.

Like I said earlier, your way or the highway is a quote from the right. That's what you all do best.........put terms in black or white......divide and conquer.
