what happened was that DDIM's crack legal team met with CSFB on thursday.

DDIM probably tried to extort some kind of apology from CSFB (i.e. "we were just kidding about the year 2000 bubble, VIAS and DDIM are solid investments. we needed a tax writeoff and were planning to lose cash on our short position.)

CSFB probably told DDIM's crack legal team to F-OFF.

DDIM should have let the matter die. best not to bite the hand that feeds you. these lawsuits never amount to anything anyway. it just highlights how pathetic DDIM is.
