On Saturday, Luke had it rough.
First of all, it's "Toy Day", which is Mom's Solution to getting him to Comply during the week. We get to go to a store and pick out another useless piece of plastic to add to his mounting collection. He couldn't find anything he wanted. (Which I was happy about in a way, but he refused to give up looking. Finally settled on a couple of Hot Wheels, so I got away cheap.)
Then we came home where he attempted to do a flying leap on his bicycle, which has training wheels but no airbag. No serious injury.
Then, his lunch was Not To His Liking.
Then, he ran into a hard object while we were playing Bounce the Ball on Your Head Like Pele.
Then his favorite videotape broke.
He started crying, came over to me, I held him, and he said,
"Dad
. . .
. . . . . . . . . . ...I'm not having a Good Day."
