Update of the qualitative list - first line is prior commentary in the linked-to post and second line is update. DVD: A+ (unless they've screwed up and lost designs) DVD: remains A+ Digital Cameras: A+ (virtually a certainty) Digital Cameras: A- downgrade because of weaker market share - reading between the lines it appears LSI won and lost share here. Yeah I know they said they got 2 biggies... Storage Components: A+ (certainty) Storage Components: remains A+ Networking: A (likely extremely strong) Networking: upgrade to A+ (thank you SEEQ) Storage Systems: A (certainty) Storage Systems: A+ upgrade STB: A (in top 3) STB: upgrade to A+ based on SC2000 'immediate' wins Telecom: A (likely market recovery but Europe seasonal + quiet) Telecom: remains A - did not see seasonal slow down per c.call Servers and Workstations: B+ (guessing - likely stable biz) Servers and Worsktations: still B+ - no comments during c.call - good biz regardless Sony Playstation: B (units flattening out) Sony Playstation: A- because of better unit demand per c.call Other Computer: ? B say (no clue?) Other Computer: no comments - still B - still no clue? Wireless Basestations/Handsets: B/B+ (C?) (this is the big ? mark - LSI should address this in conference call) Wireless Basestations/Handsets: now A since we got our answer BIG TIME! ---- BTW does someone at LSI read these comments and pass it on to the big guys!
