Ted, come on. They got responses from 42. The bottom line is Clinton, Biden, Schumer, and Daschle all would vote the SAME way today, and only 3 of the 42 would change their votes.

Perhaps the rest of those 42 were Republicans, but I doubt it.

I saw Lieberman on TV today blasting people who were arguing about the war by attacking the decisions. It's clear he'd vote the same way today as well.

Yes, and Lieberman is one of the most conservative of the Dems.

You're trying to discredit the source with anything you can since it doesn't say what you like.

Look......nothing would surprise me at this point. So it may well be that few if any senators would change their vote on the war. However, I am not buying off on that argument until I see all 100 saying it. 39 out of 100 is hardly a clear majority particularly if many of those 39 are members of the GOP.

BTW there are some well known liberals, Cramer is one of them, who still support the war. That's their privilege.....however, I don't see that as invalidating my position. I formed my position not because of what others are saying or thinking but because of my understanding of the scenario and past experiences.
