gott well, i'm confused. <g3> hey, i think i'll run pitstop tests on win98se and see if i get the same problem with vid driver message as with win2000. also, win98se can't 'see' win2000 (on a separate partition) so i'll see if i get the slow hd message. off to dual-bootsville... :) mark
