ASPT up 22.3% today! With gains like this on volume of 2.96 Million shares, it would be an understatement to say it looks like the Street was very comfortable with ASPT's merely meeting earnings consensus, and there didn't even seem to be concern with their conservative forward guidance. Congrats to ASPT management for being effective in conveying to the Street the status of the company and where it is headed. Today's action confirms that the message was well-received. As for tomorrow, when stocks run up on huge volume and close at or near the high for the day as ASPT did today, the general rule is they usually continue upward the next day.
