The ORCL thread is really upset about this move by Ellison.

By the way, come to think about it there could be some serious
synergies building up here, the Mac user interface and their loyal base, NeXT, Oracle, Novell, Ellison's a reputable shrewd businessman
and Jobs's vision.

Anyone care to elaborate?
