"Have Nasrallah's actions for the last month have BENEFITED the Sunni middle class of Beirut? or have they HARMED them?"

This is your mental error Nadine. The log in your own eye that prevents you from seeing Israel as doing ANY wrong obstructs you.
Nasrallah's actions have had no effect of Beruit whatsoever - Israel's over reaction has.

NO rockets have been fired from Beruit, which is too far north, even for the long(er) range (65 mi) Hezbollah rockets. Yet Israel has punished Beruit regardless, blowing up their power station, radio and TV stations, causing an enviromental disaster on Beruit's beaches which are now polluted with heavy fuel oil, destroying apartment blocks, hospitals and the airport and killing civilians.
