If what I did was just to "bitch" about the obvious lack of focus in the conversation here, which appears to me to have come no where near the topic that is supposedly the subject... ?

It appears to me that was precisely on target in addressing others re the lack of proper focus on the subject at hand, given others "bitching" appears it is the only subject I see being covered here at all, which is exactly what I was responding to...
