The price of oil is based on perception right now and not supply. Oil is just like gold or coffee and people buy it long and sell it short and manipulate the price. The SPR fully bled will account for 28 days supply. Look what happened when it was opened up, there were no takers. The obvious lack of understanding of something as vital and strategic as oil is completely lacking from the C administration. Do you remember how quickly oil prices fell in line during the Gulf Crisis under Bush Sr?
