"It would be terrible for Qualcomm stock if Apple stops paying royalties as they did last time.
It would take years again for this to move through the courts while Qualcomm stock would continue to be depressed.
Nothing would happen to the Apple stock because of it.
"

This is exactly the reason why our stock price is not moving up.
Investors are not fearing the loss of QCT modem revenue but they fear another possibility of entering into a litigation and also taking a hit on QTL.

We shouldn't forget that Q is dealing here with a very unethical and an immoral company that will not stop looking for any opportunity to settle scores. It will likely take another swag at (indirectly) attacking the Android ecosystem. And as a result, it achieves demoralized employee base "at the enemy camps". And very likely an opportunity to hire the best 6G-ready modem talent.

What's a few billion dollars to achieve the above.

As of now how things stand, the revival for Q stock can happen quickly if only there is a new license agreement signed that extends for some more years. Current one ends in the 1st half of 2027. Until then, investors are likely waiting to see what happens when the modem stops shipping.

The repeated and consistent messaging of growing various other businesses and successful diversification attempts couldn't have fell on deaf ears.
It is highly likely that fear of another litigation is the main reason for the drag on stock price. Hopefully Q will resolve this amicably and quickly,
