Yes Jim- I went sailing with a guy who works for META on the glasses project. He recorded a very cool action photo while we were sailing that I could never have captured with a phone. Anyway afterward we were discussing about the chip in the glasses and he said they are trying to develop their own silicon and don't want to be dependent on Qualcomm. I of course pressed him but that was where he went. It may be that he meant they were developing it with Mediatek but maybe not. I will ask some more.
