MOT and NEC were the only handset mfrs at Cannes with working WCDMA handsets--along with Qcom having handsets. What does this mean for Qcom? I think MOT will be using Qcom chips. MOT has a lead and won't want to blow it. Furthermore, MOT imho learned from its past mistakes in trying to make its own chips and will rely on Qcom for chips.
