RE: e-machine, Tef, I didn't spend any time "studying" the sub $600 e-machine. I was helping a friend decide on a PC for home and was working on a couple of CPQ and HP Intel units. The e-machine was obviously a low quality machine, in terms of chasis, size, etc. As I recall it had a 6GB drive. But the specs looked pretty good. But, I could not recommend an unknown to my friend.
