OT-Bank of Montreal Investorline is the best for certain kinds of options trading. You can't offset exchange rates like greenline but if you want to buy very speculative options on for example Microsoft calls, it puts a cap on the amount of commissions it will charge. If for
example you want:
- buy calls on MSFT ---way out of the money---costing 1/16 per share
You could buy 320 contracts with a limit on the maximum commision
charge. I believe it is a little over $40. This only applies for
trades less than $2000 US$. This applies to total purchases of the
same security for the entire day. If you go over $2000, you will
get charged the normal options rate and have to pay a few hundred
dollars commisionon trade on a trade that is just over $2000.

Conclusion:
If you have a feeling of a sharp move in a stock and options under 5/8 are available, I would buy through investorline and keep total value of trade to under $2000. I don't really do this anymore and that is why I am with Greenline now. This is how I made money last year on MSFT, big money!!
