I believe insider trading activtiy will show that some senior managers regularly sell some of their positions in their company only so that they diversify their investments. No need having all your eggs in one basket. I think Dan Smith (CEO at Cascade) trades fairly regularly. Remember, insiders are limited as to when they can sell their stock. Sometimes their sales come at inopportune times. The only people who know if someone sells due to insider information are the people who sell. Unfortunate but true.
