From Intels website:
Intel issued 80 million (adjusted for stock splits and distributions) 1998 Step-Up Warrants (Nasdaq: INTCW) in 1993. Upon exercise, each Step-Up Warrant permits the holder to buy a share of Intel Common Stock at an exercise price of $20.875 per share. As of December 27, 1997, approximately 2 million Step-Up Warrants had been exercised, and approximately 78 million Step-Up Warrants remained outstanding. The Step-Up Warrants expire on March 14, 1998. Because this date is a Saturday, the exercise of Step-Up Warrants will need to be completed by 5 p.m. New York time on March 13, 1998. If the Step-Up Warrants are not exercised before this time, the Step-Up Warrants will expire and have no value. The last day to buy or sell the Step-Up Warrants on Nasdaq is their last day of trading, Tuesday, March 10, 1998.
