t2k,

I don't see the States giving in for these settlement items. I am becoming more and more convinced that the States, more than the DOJ, are in this til the death. Why you ask?

Pretty simple reasoning, actually. At the last press conference where the States discussed their early reactions to MSFT's tender offer for settlement, it was very clear that only three of the State AGs could stand on the podium and actually get their faces on camera. I know this sounds humorous, but I swear I actually saw some tussling going on in the background as the AG from NY was trying to knock Blumenthal (CT AG) out of the way for some air time.

At this rate, it will take two years of these press conferences and much larger lenses on the part of the film crews until all of the political animals get there 15 minutes of fame.

Any thoughts,

Teflon
